SKETCHBOOK

'My digital sketchbook encompasses a broad range of subjects and mediums, featuring architectural structures and settings, to figurative forms and portraiture. Whether working from observation or second-hand resources, I find there to be something greatly spiritual within the act of drawing itself, the labour-intensive endowment to craft providing scope for personal acts of self-meditation. Making drawing more than just a technical device within my practice, but a playground for reflection, within which I am subsequently able to develop my critical thinking and awareness.'

LIFE DRAWING

'During my second academic year of study I co-founded and assisted in the organisation of a Life Drawing society at Norwich University of the Arts. The idea stemmed from a desire to engage in more of the activity outside of timetabled study hours whilst assisting in the development of technical skill across academic courses. Featured below are some of the works obtained from the sessions, alongside outcomes from other external projects including Life Drawing in Berlin, 2018.'
